HISTORY:
We began this business with the purchase of our first home on Hunting Island in
the spring of 2000. We created our first website,
www.huntingisland.net during the fall
of 2001 as a source of information for our home. We then purchased our
second home on Hunting Island and began to actively market both homes via the
internet. In May of 2002, we added
www.harborislandbeachhouses.net
and
www.frippislandbeachhouses.net . At that point in time, we expanded
our inventory to include other homeowners' property.
And thus, in January of
2003, Seaside Getaways, LLC was formed. This year we moved to Beaufort,
South Carolina and we love it here. I am very excited, in 2004, I was able
to hire two full-time employees to help assist you in your vacation plans.
When you make an inquiry, you may talk to me or to my reservationist, Jenni
Baker. If there are any accounting issues, then you may speak to Judy
Reynolds, our bookkeeper. We are all here to help make your vacation as
special and as easy to plan as possible.
All of the homes on our
websites are individually owned. Some are managed by Seaside Getaways, but
many are individually managed. This will be spelled out in the rental
agreement sent to you with your reservation, so that you will know who to call
during your stay.
We put together information
provided by the property owners' and place it on our website for the convenience
of anyone looking for a vacation home in our "neighborhood". If the
information is not on the website, we work hard to obtain the answer to all
questions. So, feel free to email us with any questions that you may have.
We are very proud of our
vacation homes and coastal neighborhood and fortunate to live and play here.

I am a licensed
Property-Manager-In-Charge (PMIC) in South Carolina. Listed below
are the service offerings:
1. Rental referrals booked by Seaside
Getaways. I charge a small fee of 10% for confirmed reservations.
Typically this increases my client's revenue base significantly.
2. Full management so that you as the owner can relax and know that
your property is well taken care of. Our goal is to remove the
day-to-day headaches, while helping you earn a revenue stream on your
property. I am more than happy to provide references.
We have a "new owner" package available to send
that explains our offerings in detail. Please send me an

We are continuously adding new neighbor's homes at
Harbor, Fripp, and Hunting island to our sites. We receive over
30,000 visitors/month and the numbers are steadily increasing. This
translates into dozens of inquiries and reservation requests daily.
